Lewabrane RO B085 ULP 4040 , 4 inch x 40 inch Ultra Low Pressure Membrane

The Lewabrane® spiral wound reverse osmosis (RO) 4040 membrane RO B085 ULP 4040 has a highly permeable composite polyamide (PA) membrane. It is designed for low salinity water to operate at ultra low pressure (ULP). The high permeability results in up to 40% lower energy consumption compared to standard elements.
The 4040 ULP Membranes are characterized by
• High rejection of organic compounds
• Low energy demand

 

The ULP 4040 elements are offered with a 0.86 mm (34 mil) feed spacer to reduce the fouling and to improve the cleanability. The ULP 4040 membranes are based on a 7.6 bar (110 PSI) test pressure.

Ultra low pressure membrane is suitable for water purification applications of water sources with salt concentration lower than 1000 ppm.

Salt Rejection: 99.5%.

Permeate Flow: 2,150 gpd (8.2 m³/day).

Membrane Area: 85 ft².

Feed Spacer Thickness: 34 mil.

*Test conditions: 500 mg/l NaCl, 7.6 bar (110 psi), 25 °C (77 °F), pH 7, recovery rate 15%.
