Lewabrane RO B400 LE ASD, 8”x40” Low Pressure & Reduced Fouling Tendency Brackish Water Membrane

The Lewabrane® B400 LE ASD are spiral wound, composite polyamide (PA) membrane elements designed to be used for brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) applications. These LE (Low Energy) elements are characterized by a higher permeability than standard BWRO elements. The ASD (Alternating Strand Design) feed spacer technology offers an improvement in RO lifetime cost performance by lower pressure drop and reduced fouling tendency. Lewabrane® B400 LE ASD elements are characterized by High cross-linked PA membrane chemistry Excellent rejection performance combined with high permeate flow ASD feed spacer technology inside.

the LE elements are offered with a 0.86 mm (34 mil) feed spacer to reduce the fouling and to improve the cleanability. The LE membrane products are based on a 10.3 bar test pressure. Typical applications for the RO B400 LE-type of membrane are the treatment of surface water, the pretreatment in front of an ion exchange system, or in the second.
