LG BW 4040 ES Energy Saving Brackish Water RO membranes offer high permeability at low feed pressure significantly reducing operating costs; suitable for low to medium salinity brackish water applications.

It operates at Low Pressure (10.3 bar / 150 PSI) inlet feed water pressure.

LG Chem’s NanoH2O™ brackish water RO membranes serve various municipal and industrial applications and major utilities around the world. LG BWRO membranes, all incorporated with innovative Thin Film Nanocomposite (TFN) technology, are offered in industry standard configurations and can easily fit into existing and new RO plants.   

All LG BWRO membranes provide superior performance along with intrinsic anti-fouling property and are suitable for applications where consistent and reliable performance is a must.

*Test conditions: 2000 mg/l NaCl, 10.3 bar (150 psi), 25 °C (77 °F), pH 7, recovery rate 15%.
*Pre-treatment must be used to protect the membrane (softener, antiscalant dosing pump, sand filter, carbon filter, 5 mic cartridge fitler ...etc).

LG BW 4040 ES Membrane Element can be used as a replacement for the below membrane elements in your existing water treatment equipment.
FilmTec LC LE-4040 / Filmtec BW LE-4040 / GE Desal 4040 / Hydranautics ESPA2-LD-4040 / Toray TMG10D / CSM RE4040-BLN / Axeon HF1-4040.

pH Range of Feed water during Continuous Operation:  2~11
pH Range of Feed Water during Chemical Cleaning:  2~12
Residual chlorine Concentration of feed water <0.1ppm Max.
Pressure drop of single membrane element:  15psi (0.1MPa)
