Deionized Water Filter System, Non Regenerable DI Resin Bottles

  • Deionisation DI Tank, Mixed Bed Resin Filter, 10 / 15 / 17 Ltr of Mixed Bed DI Resin Vessel.

Deionisation systems use tanks full of ion exchange resins to purify potentially contaminated water. It is a resin based water filtration process of removing all dissolved solids from the water. DI ion exchange resin attracts non-water ions and replaces them with water ions, leaving a more pure water form.

This DI Resin Vessel System includes:

  • FRP Pressure Vessel Tank. (Black colour). It is made from heavy duty Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and feature a polyethylene (PE) internal liner for high chemical resistance.
Size: 9x17”, Total volume: 13.5 ltr. (takes 10 Ltr DI resin)
Size: 8x24”, Total volume: 16.5 ltr. (takes 15 Ltr DI resin)
Size: 10x19”, Total volume: 19 ltr, (takes 17 Ltr DI resin)

  • In-Out vessel head, 2 1/2″ threaded cap with ½” inlet and outlet ports.
  • Accessories: Top basket and riser tube with bottom strainer.
  • High quality mixed bed resin (Optional),
    • First Option: Lewatit® Ultrapure 1292MD is made by Lanxess (Made in Germany), This Premium Mixed Bed Deionising Resin is used to ‘polish’ the water to higher levels of purity after it has been initially treated by either a two-bed deioniser or a Reverse Osmosis system. More details Click here.
    • Second Option: TRILITE® SM300 is widely used as polishing on RO or demineralised water, post RO polisher. Tap water -> RO -> SM300 -> Demi water.
    • Third Option: TRILITE SM210 is widely used to treat Potable Water (Conductivity 150 µS/cm), and it is widely used to ‘polish’ the water to higher levels of purity after it has been initially treated by Reverse Osmosis system. More details Click here.

It is non regenerable mixed bed demineraliser, so renewal of the resin is by replacing the resin.

DI, demi or mixed bed ion exchange resins are mainly used for polishing process water to achieve demineralised water quality (such as after a reverse osmosis system).

Typical applications include:

  • Ultra pure water production.
  • DI (Deionisation), Demi (Demineralisation).
  • Condensate polishing (boiler feed water).
  • Micro-electronics cleaning, semiconductor, electronics or solar panel industry.
  • Pharmaceutical industry, Medical offices and Laboratories.
  • Laboratories.
  • Window Cleaning, Vehicle Washing & Detailing.    -
  • Biotechnology Purification in the foodstuff-industry Food industry.
  • Cosmetics and Chemical Industry.
  • Plating and anodizing.
  • Polishing Electronics Industry.
  • Aquariums, Fish Tanks, and Reefkeeping Facilities.
  • CNC Wire EDM applications.

DI Resin Bottle Tanks come in various size options depending upon how heavy your usage needs are, More sizes are available, Click here

DuPont RO Membranes

FilmTec™ Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis 4" Elements can separate salts from water and are produced with an automated fabrication process that ensures precision, consistency, and reliability. They are ideal for use in medium-sized water treatment system that produce less than approximately 10 gpm (2300 L/h) of permeate. DuPont Reverse Osmosis membranes build on a tradition of leadership in the thin-film composite membrane industry and meet the challenges of higher rejection in lower-pressure operations.

Commercial Application:

- Demineralisation for industrial applications, such as: PowerGeneration, Steel & Metal, Chemical & Petrochemical
- Drinking water.
- Softened water for homes, hotels, commercial laundries and car wash.
- Spot free rinse for window cleaning and solar panel cleaning
- Pure water for pharmaceuticals, laboratories, Hemodialysis and electronics
- Sterilisers and autoclaves.
- Chemical industry.
- Aquarium water treatment.
- Boiler and cooling towers make-up water.
- Pure water, boiler water replenishment, foodstuff processing, and pharmaceutical production.

Filmtec XLE PRO-4040 Data Sheet

General Information:
- Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting.
For successful operation of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Nanofiltration (NF) membrane systems, the operation must follow the guidelines provided in the FilmTec™ ReverseOsmosis / Nanofiltration Elements Operation Excellence and Limiting Conditions Tech Fact (Form No. 45-D04388-en).
- To prevent biological growth during prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended that membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution.
- The customer is fully responsible for the effects of incompatible chemicals and lubricants on elements.
- Avoid static permeate-side back pressure at all times.
- Permeate obtained from the first hour of operation should be discarded.
- The use of this product in and of itself does not necessarily guarantee the removal of cysts and pathogens from water. Effective cyst and pathogen reduction is dependent on the complete system design and on the operation and maintenance of the system.

Important Information:
- Proper start-up of reverse osmosis water treatment systems isessential to prepare the membranes for operating service  and to prevent membrane damage due to over feeding or hydraulic shock. Following the proper start-up sequence also  helps ensure that system operating parameters conform to design specifications so that system water quality and productivity goals can be achieved..
- Before initiating system start-up procedures, membrane pretreatment, loading of the membrane elements, instrument calibration and other system checks should be completed.
